Lesson Terms and Conditions Summary
Time:
- Be on time for lessons. Arriving late will deduct time from your lesson.
- Significant tardiness (>50% of Lesson Time) will be considered a late cancel.
- Lessons start and end promptly. Ask questions during your lesson or schedule extra time beforehand.
- Closed-toe shoes with heels or boots are required for safety and riding position.
- Wear long pants.
- Dress in layers for cold weather.
- ASTM/SEI-approved equestrian helmets are highly recommended for all mounted activities (bicycle, skateboard, motorcycle etc. helmets are not suitable for equine activities and are not allowed in riding lessons).
- It is recommended to Wear a wide-brimmed hat, or helmet for sun protection in warm weather.
- If you must cancel your lesson, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. If I must cancel a lesson due to inclement weather, I will try to let you know as soon as possible and will not charge you for the lesson; all lessons are canceled if the ambient temperature is below 10 degrees.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are charged a 50% lesson fee.
- For emergencies, contact me as soon as possible.
- Contact me for confirmation before showing up in case of inclement weather.
- Lessons may need to be rescheduled due to extreme heat or cold.
- The indoor arena has no heat, so reschedule lessons if the temperature is below 10 degrees.
- Do not bring pets.
- Park your car in the designated area.
- Auditors are welcome for a $20 fee, but they must have a current waiver and are not allowed in the arena unless invited.
- Clean up after yourself, including any trash, belongings, and manure.
- Read and sign the lesson waiver before your lesson Starts.
